THE CHURCH COORDINATOR
We are grateful to be seeing numerical growth at KFC and our heart is to be a church where every person is cared for and can grow in their faith. We want to be a place where those new to church find a warm welcome, and where our longest standing members know they belong. As more people join us, we need someone to help care for the practical foundations and systems that enable our church family to flourish.
This role is about much more than paperwork. By leading processes, supporting staff and volunteers, and keeping communication clear, you will help our vision be carried out with excellence and create a welcoming, effective and faith-filled environment where lives can be transformed. Over the last nine months we have developed the digital side of our church management system and communications, and we are now in a good position for someone to build on this.
CHURCH COORDINATOR JOB DESCRIPTION
THE ESSENTIALS
Hours: Part-time, 16 hours per week minimum (fixed-term, with a view to becoming permanent after 1 year)
Pay: £14.50 per hour
Location: Church office (laptop provided)
Key responsibilities: Day-to-day operations, rotas, church communications, and being the welcoming face of the KFC office.
Requirement: There is a genuine occupational requirement that the post-holder be a practising Christian and an active part of the KFC church family
